Twilight Los Angeles is an immersive journey through residential spaces architect Herwig Baumgartner designed for the city — reimagined through AI-generated environments.
Seven generative video scenes unfold as landscapes of wonder and imagination: evolving architectures, hybrid ecologies, and surreal atmospheres where the mundane becomes fantastic. In these uncanny worlds, the absence of human presence gives rise to new relationships between nature, technology, and space.
The digital and the tangible converge through ceramic and metal façade mock-ups and a central sculptural installation — a living room overtaken by plant life, where furniture, architectural models, and natural materials intertwine with virtual imagery to form a seamless, hybrid environment.
Los Angeles has always been a city of imagined futures. Twilight LA invites us to explore one of them — where architecture, AI, and nature converge to redefine what home can be.
